One of the main components in making Treasure Cache TV is you. We will be traveling the world over talking with local geocachers and we need to know where you are.

If you, your family or geocaching group would like to be on Treasure Cache TV we ask the following of you:

    Send Us:
  • Your Full Name
  • Your Geocaching Alias
  • What Area Do You Reside
  • What National or State Park that is nearby that has geocaches on or near and we can explore
  • The name of your group or organization if applicable
  • How many people are in your group or organization that would be attending?
  • Any other information you think we should know
We will add your entry with the others and if selected we will contact you a.s.a.p.

Email all entries to: TreasureCacheTV@gmail.com

Treasure Cache News

June 16, 2010 - A quick FYI to those who sent in visit requests. We are sending responses out this week asking for a bit more information about the parks you suggested. When you get these please respond as quick as possible. It will be greatly appreciated.

If you want to get your visit requests in there is still a bit of time left. Follow the instructions in the top middle of this website. -HHH

June 1, 2010 - We have started accepting questions from our viewers for the "Ask The Gurus" segment of the show. If you have a question to ask our panel of experts please email the following information to treasurecachetv@gmail.com and put Ask The Gurus in the subject.

Include:
Your geocaching based question, your name, email address and city, state you are from.

If picked for the show you will win a prize that will be determined by the time we air. It will be well worth it! Get those questions in!!! -HHH

May 31, 2010 - Our panel of ASK THE GURUS is growing bigger! Just confirmed that Elin Carlson a.k.a. EMC of Northridge, CA will be bringing her amazing insights on geocaching. She is not only one of the top geocachers in the USA but in the world!

I've known Elin for a couple of years now after we joined in the Great HooHaa Travel Bug race. For a time she held the unofficial world record of number of geocaches in a day and I heard she can belt out a tune or two ;) jk - she is a professional singer and you can hear her operatic voice on the New Star Trek Original Series DVD collection. Welcome to the family Elin! -HHH

May 25, 2010 - I want to thank everyone who has sent in their entries for us to visit you for a Treasure Cache TV session. We currently have entries in 21 states and three other countries so far. Believe it or not we need a bunch more.

If you are in the following states especially we could use some requests: Michigan, Virginia, West Virginia and Kentucky we would love to hear from you.

Above all if you are anywhere on the globe and would like us to stop on by we need to hear from you right now! Our schedule is being made and we want to get you on the list. Hurry, don't wait... -HHH

May 21, 2010 - We are getting really pumped up to get on the road and start filming for season one. I wanted to clarify a couple of items which came from some viewer questions I just received. Here goes: Treasure Cache is to air Fall 2010 and the channel(s) will be announced shortly. Same for all the sponsors. We are just wrapping up some loose ends before we can do that. We really felt it necessary to let our fans know this was coming so we pushed to get the websites, fan pages and Twitter accounts in place a.s.a.p.. Hope this helps. Oh and the reason I say even though we are traveling the globe and showing 'local' geocachers means local to the area we are in at the time.. More good stuff coming -HHH

May 20, 2010 - Well the pilot is for the most part finished. I have sent it to our peeps for final approval and should have it live on the website very soon. I am so excited I just can't sit still. Now keep in mind when you do see it that it was made with the same equipment that I make the GeoSnippits videos so it is not true TV production. The actual pilot will of course be of a much higher overall quality and the two features will be a whole lot longer than 90 seconds each. Keep watching it will be out any minute. -HHH

May 19, 2010 - Was up quite late last night working on the pilot. Due to the rather rainy weather for the next week all of my intro's and filler is being done in front of the green screen. It is so close but a couple of things are still bothering me and I want to have them fixed before it is released. The quality will improve by leaps and bounds once we get the all the TV equipment. Right now I am using duct tape and fishing string to bring it all together ;) Hoping to have it live by this weekend so stay tuned. -HHH

May 17, 2010 - What a weekend. We worked on the mini pilot for the show pretty much all weekend and at some point things just got silly. To show that we can laugh at ourselves here is a quick one minute spoof.

Enjoy. -HHH

May 14, 2010 - It is so gorgeous out and I want to do some serious geocaching but instead I am putting the show pilot together. I would think it takes a bit of precedence at the moment :) It should be live soon on our website.. So much more information coming soon. -HHH

May 12, 2010 - Just finished a phone call a little while ago with Bryan Roth. One of the co-creators of Geocaching.com and Groundspeak. I wanted to make sure that he and Jeremy knew what was going on with the show and of course if it was cool with them. As you can now see on the website we have the approval from them to mention Geocaching.com and Groundspeak on the show. In fact, it was Bryan who sent me the logos to use. Very Cool. I am now in hyper geek mode and really want to get this party started. Even more info is on it's way. Stay Tuned! -HHH

May 11, 2010 - Keep the suggestions coming. We just put the call out for local geocachers to be on the Treasure Cache TV show and already we have requests from all across the country and Canada. From upstate New York to Utah to Texas. Then the state of Washington to the Florida panhandle and back around to Halifax, Canada. This is just a sample and we need so much more. Be sure to get your geocaching family, group or organization on the TV screen and sign yourself up now. Please hurry because we are setting the schedule now! -HHH

May 10, 2010 - Ahhh, the glamorous life of television.. Finishing up the website, I hope you are liking what you see so far. Back to the editing from the two wonderful families we just filmed.. Bet you didn't realize that a couple hours of shooting can equal a day or two worth of editing. That is all part of the fun though and I really am learning a lot. Even if some times it's the hard way :) -HHH

May 9, 2010 - What an amazing time we had filming at the Fort Fisher Recreational Area in Wilmington, NC with the Fraygirls. Let's put it this way. In our one mile walk we went through four different terrains and did we mention we were near the ocean too? Check out a fraction of the photos below and keep an eye on the Fraygirls in the very first episode of Treasure Cache TV.

May 8, 2010 - We just started shooting the pilot for TC this last week with Maingray's geocaching family. Had an absolute blast and I shall start editing their segment today. The Eno River State Park in North Carolina was beautiful with all it's amazing trees and river.

Tomorrow we take the camera crew out to Wilmington, NC to meet up with the Fraygirls. We are talking ocean view geocaching... Should be lots of sandy geocaching goodness...
More To Come...
